Yes!! Chapter 9!! This includes 2 new characters to UNU!! HAHAHAHHA!

Chapter 9: Burn The Image Into Your Head

~Deep in the crevasses of outer space, near the New Matter Kingdom, was a well guarded prison asteroid known as Gamma Rock. Gamma Rock was the NM Kingdom’s most secure prisons in all of outer space. This was not only highly protected place for captives, but also the torture and executing was done here. Here, the New Matter was able to harness the all-powerful Gamma Rays given off by stars and other galactic objects. However, we turn down a few hallways inside the metallic, unbreakable prison, to see a black alien with red, scaly tips on his twin horns. He wore a waist high, maroon, sleeveless robe, which was torn at the edges. He had on matching maroon and white shoes, and ripped, white gloves. His eyes were a fantastic green and his face always had a serious look to it. The alien looked down the hallway to check to see if the coast was clear. He saw one guard, but it appeared to be asleep. The alien smiled and his eyes widened at his lucky break. He carefully tiptoed around the snoozing guard and ran off down the 2nd hallway; he was nearing his escape. ~
???: Hmph. This is too easy! I thought this New Matter would be a lot harder to bypass…
~Suddenly, the alien heard a yell from behind a locked door down a nearby corridor. He was only a few feet away when he saw sparks fly from the door. He rushed over, and checked in the small window to see inside. A young looking yellow mammal was on the ground, firing electricity from his hands! The alien backed away in astonishment, but resumed looking. The creature was being hunted by the New Matter while in his own cell! That’s brutal! The alien tried to look closer to get a better view of what was going on. The mammal was getting ripped to shreds; his cloak was torn to pieces, his arms and face scarred from the attacks of the evil matter, and his eyes were bright with rage. Then, the door swung open with a huge blast of smoke, smashing the alien against the opposite wall. He fell to the floor, and gripped his left hand tightly. He slowly moved it around his face while opening his grip. This allowed him to see clearly in all the smoke and dust. He saw the mammal bolt from the cloud of dust and run down the hall. The alien made no hesitation and followed him. He was going the wrong way! ~
???: NO DAMN IT! THAT’S THE WRONG WAY!!
~The mammal stopped on his heels and turned around to the one who yelled that. His teary, but bright eyes focused on the strange life form. He was holding his right arm and sparks were flying from his wounds. The alien held up his hand and crouched into a running position. ~
???: Now is not the time for battles. Now is the time of escape! If you want to get out, you’ll be following me. If you want to lose your way and be attacked by those things again, you’ll continue on your own. Help from a stranger is better than help from no one!
~With that said, the alien flew down the correct corridor, with the reluctant mammal following. He was still sparking, but seemed better now that he knew how to get out. Without looking back the two reached the gates of the prison. Thousands of guards and monsters followed them and were closing in. The mammal backed up next to the gateway, and used his electricity to try to get out. It was no use; the only way was to actually be a New Matter and teleport out! He kicked the door in frustration, while the alien stood shaking and shut his eyes. He opened them, and grabbed the mammal’s arm. ~
??: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?!?!
???: SAVING YOUR LIFE, KID! GIVE ME SOME OF YOUR POWER!
??: WHAT?!?!? NO WAY!!
???: DO YOU WANT TO DIE HERE?!
~With that threat, the alien absorbed some of the raging mammal’s electric power. The way he absorbed it, the mammal noted was a lot like the way the New Matter absorbed his energy… The alien concentrated and within a flash, in the nick of time, he and the animal warped out of the prison, just as they were about to be ambushed. ~
~An hour later, the two of them were on a nearby asteroid, but hidden in a cave crater. The alien had brought the mammal into the cave and shoved him to the ground. He fell on his back and growled at the alien. Then, the introductions began. Aggressively, of course… ~
??: Who are you? And why did you save me?
???: I’m not one of them, if that’s what your asking…
??: That only answered half my question…
???: *sigh * Image…
??: What?
???: Image…the Cosmic…that’s who I am…
??: Image? I’ve never heard of you before…
Image: Of course not. I never stay in one place for too long.
??: Why? Are they looking for you too?
Image: Yeah…they almost executed me…and you?
??: Tentako. I’m Tentako. They captured me for my power…
Image: …yes…you bleed your own spark…that’s true power…
Tentako: The only bad thing is, I can’t control it. When I lose power, it multiplies to become even stronger…
Image: This is something I cannot help you with. You are gifted, but at the same time, cursed.
Tentako: So, Image…*now trying to fix wounds * Umm, where are you from? Far from home?
Image: Not really. My home is currently around Planet Trop—
Tentako: Oww! God, this hurts!
Image: Your doing it wrong, that’s why…
~The mammal was trying to take his left over cloak and wrap it around his wounds. He only used one hand and it kept slipping off. Image came down and tied the wound up for him. He then just looked at Tentako. The swelling anger in his eyes faded mostly, but some was still left. He could tell they tortured him a great deal. ~
Image: They really hurt you badly…
Tentako: I know, but I have to get my revenge and at least attempt to stay alive!
Image: Ah! I have it!
Tentako: What?
Image: I know exactly who to go to! We’ll get your injuries fixed in no time at all! Come with me!
Tentako: Who? Where?
~The alien and the mammal both headed out of the crater cave and looked around in the distant floating space. Image spotted a small white ship flying around a few nearby asteroids and pointed it out to Tentako. He told him he would return, and to stay here. ~
Image: I’ll be back. I just need to get something from there.
Tentako: Oh no! I’m not just gonna stay here and do nothing! I wanna go too. Whether you like it or not!
Image: Ugh! Fine, but let’s hurry up!
~The duo got on the next nearest set of orbiting rocks and just kept hopping around on them, until they reached the ship. Image then stood still and used his power to change his color from red and black to completely dark, so only a dim silhouette was visible. Tentako jumped at the act, but Image quieted him. The alien then quietly leaped onto the ship’s roof, and accidentally made a thud noise. The two grunt New Matter’s inside noticed and looked around outside. Nothing could be seen but flying rocks. They shrugged and headed back to their work at the controls. Image then put both his hands on the hatch/door of the ship and Tentako watched him lower himself in without a sound. He left the hatch open, and dropped silently to the floor. The grunts had not noticed him yet. Then, he swung his hand to the side, spread his fingers wide apart, and shut them together. A faint boom was heard, and the two grunts panicked to get out the door, exiting the control room. Once they left, Image returned to normal, and peeked his head out and signaled Tentako to come inside. Tentako leaped onto the roof as well, and carefully dropped to the floor. Image was already on the computer. He pressed one button, and a menu screen appeared. He pressed 3 more buttons and the TRACKING button popped up in its place with a few more options. Image pressed 2 more buttons and turned a knob, and the screen flashed. ~

Tentako: What’s that?
Image: It’s what’ll help us find our guy.
Tentako: Yeah, but what kind of blood sample is that?
Image: *puts in deposit drop slot * It’s not. It’s a tear sample.
Tentako: Tears?

~On the screen, a green grid showed up. Tentako and Image both watched as the grid morphed into a figure that had a small body, two pigtails, one hairbang, spines, and a tail. It had large eyes and was streaked. On the left side of the picture, the information appeared. ~

Image: *shuts down computer * That’s all we need. Now let’s move…
Tentako: Whoa, whoa, whoa! You don’t expect me to go to a different galaxy do you?!? You’re crazy!!
Image: I used to work for the maddest scientist in all of Solar System 1…yes, I am crazy…
Tentako: Forget it man, I’m not going.
Image: You want to be healed? You want to get your revenge on all who have taken you?!? What can you do for revenge if you just sit and do nothing?
Tentako: …right…okay…
Image: Then come.
~Image helped Tentako get out of the ship and onto the nearest asteroid. Then, the alien took the mammal by the arm again. He began kicking the ground with the heel of his shoe. Tentako asked what he was doing, but after a fire sparked under his heels, the mammal realized that he was trying to lift off. Once he got the both of them in the air, Image reared back and with Tentako holding on, he soared through space at a fast enough rate to get them both to Nmeo the New Matter. ~

Oh, we probably won't go back into battle that soon--the team needs its new members to arrive, so I'll do about 2 retarded filler (possible fluff) chapters...stay with me, cause I'll try to make it funny, and actiony!

Kay, next chapter. This one has a conflict involved in between two of my characters. You want a special cutscene, you have to tell me. Here you go!

Chapter 10: Don’t Tell Me Why

Nmeo: WRATH!! NO!
Wrath: HE MUST DIE!!
Rocky: WRATH!! GET OFF OF HIM NOW!!!
~At this point, Wrath the Hedgehog was on top of Decoda the Guinea Pig, strangling him. Decoda had his hands around the boy’s neck as well, and it looked as if no one was winning this fight. Everyone was around the two, watching to see what would happen next. ShadowChris and Zane, however, began to chant, “fight” over and over again. SonicCody, who cared about his cousin’s well being, physically grabbed a hold of Wrath’s back and tried to pull him off of the pig. He tried separating the two, and it worked, but when they stepped off, Wrath simply rammed into his rival again. Rocky called his name several times to try to calm him, but it had no effect. There was no use; Kane even said he was a stubborn as anvil at the bottom of the ocean. She sighed heavily, and sat down shaking her head. Not even the “grounded” threat would work on him. Crimson Cody attempted to freeze the fighters with his ice powers, but Wrath was so heated, he melted it away, and purposely unfroze Decoda, so he could have a fair fight. Genesis even tried to step in and blast the two apart with his wind power, but even the wind couldn’t slow the angry mammals down! Ferina and Emily smacked their foreheads in unison. Xero attempted to stop them by ripping them apart, but he could only hold one of the boys back for a few seconds before he was kicked in the shin. ShadowChris got bored and he fired a bomb at both of them, which successfully blew up and knocked them both unconscious. ~
SChris: I WIN! I ALWAYS WIN!
Zane: *claps * Way to go!
Xero: Don’t try to encourage him.
Zane: What else could he do? Hokey-pokey?
Xero: Don’t give him ideas…
~Nmeo just sat down and rubbed his temples with his fingers. He couldn’t allow much more violence to go on. All they did was make comments about each others fighting style and now they’re in a rumble. What could possibly be the problem between them? Suddenly, the new matter got an idea. He ran over to the dark mage, and spoke in a whisper. ~
Nmeo: Do you happen to have any potions or chemicals that could calm these two down? I have a plan.
SChris: What?
Nmeo: Do you have any calming medicine?
SChris: WHAT?
Nmeo: DO YOU HAVE ANY CALMING MEDICINE?
SChris: *whips out megaphone * WHAAAAAAAT?!?
Nmeo: *snags megaphone and screams * DO YOU HAVE ANY CALMING MEDICINE?!?!?!
SChris: Sure, but why are you using a megaphone to tell me that?
Nmeo: …
~The caped hedgehog went into his pant pocket and fiddled around to try to find some “chill-pills”. Nmeo waited patiently, and luckily, ShadowChris pulled out 2 capsules. The new matter ran over to the wrestling duo and ducked underneath their locked arms to get in between them. He popped one pill in Wrath’s mouth, and knocked him over, then flipped around Decoda to insert the other pill into his mouth, also knocking him down. The two swallowed, and shook out their heads, but didn’t attack one another. Nmeo nodded and smiled at his achievement. His plan would work! Then, he walked over to Rocky and Kane who were sitting and talking about how uncontrollable the boy in blue was. ~
Nmeo: Your son is under control!
Kane: That’s good news.
Rocky: Really? Oh, thank god…
Nmeo: All I need to do, is to get everyone to leave the room and give those two time to talk about why they were fighting!
Everyone (evesdropping): WHAT?!?!
Nmeo: Yeah, so come on now! A little space air won’t hurt anyone! Oh, wait, space doesn’t have air…whoops…
DRage: For those of us unable to breathe in space, what will we do?
Draco: Most of us Mobians can, but I don’t know about Rocky or Crimson or Rage…
Chase: It’ll take too much time to build a space suit, let alone for 3 people…
Zeta: If I analyze material, perhaps we can build only the helmets?
Emily: Won’t it be scary to go out there where everyone wants to kill us too?
Nmeo: Enough! All right, I understand the flaws in my plan, but I need you to listen to me! I’ll go and install a second room for you.
~And with those few words, Nmeo was teleported outside. No one knew how he was going to do it, but after a half an hour, Nmeo returned, dusting off his hands. Everyone was curious on how he did it, but he did; the door to the new room was made out of rock and steel, but easy to open. Rocky opened the new door, and let everyone else enter the cold, stony room. There were few chairs, but it mostly looked like a hard jail cell. Emily shivered when she arrived in the room, complaining of the temperature, but Genesis took off his chef coat and lent it to her. She wrapped her little body up tightly and sighed as she looked endearingly at her crush. He smiled back at her, and pat her head. She blushed then went to go roam the room. Genesis then began to speak with SonicCody. ~
SCody: Pretty lame room.
Genesis: It’s all he could do in a half an hour’s time…
SCody: True, but he could’ve made it have some friction. *rubs shoes on stone floor *
Genesis: And there’s no airflow like the other room…but will we need to attack here?
SCody: Doubt it. This place seems pretty concealed.
Draco: Hey guys, what’s going on? *jogs over to hedgehogs *
Genesis: I should’ve been able to get my ship…
Draco: Ship?
Genesis: Yeah, it’s huge! But since my planet is infected, we can’t go back to get it yet…
Aqua: Draco? *walks over *
Draco: What is it?
Aqua: Emily and the others found something strange outside the window!
Draco: What?
Aqua: Crimson thinks it’s a life form! Come on! All of you!
~The four stride over to the only window in the whole stone room and peer out of it. They see a distant glow of fire and 2 figures, apparently connected. No one could identify them, but they appeared to be heading in this direction. Genesis whistled, and Nmeo perked his head up. He turned around to see the green hedgehog signal to come over. The new matter poked his head up to see the window, and sure enough, he panicked. ~
Nmeo: ATTENTION EVERYONE! I’VE COMPLETELY RUINED OUR HIDEAWAY!!
Everyone: WHAT?!?!
Meanwhile…
~Decoda and Wrath were sitting on opposite sides of the floor. Decoda’s arms were folded, while Wrath sat there, sighing. Finally, he got up and walked toward the guinea pig. ~
Wrath: We were left here for a reason, and I think it’s time for me to tell you why…
Decoda: Because you like to be alone with other guys?
Wrath: THAT’S ENOUGH!! I WON’T TOLERATE IT ANYMORE!!
Decoda: Tolerate what? Me stating the obvious?
Wrath: UGH! YOU MAKE ME SICK!!
~The boy hedgehog stomped away and murmured cursing under his breath. Decoda got up slowly and attempted to approach him. He stopped when he was at a safe enough distance from the boy. ~
Decoda: Okay, fine…I’m sorry… I only make fun of you because I like to. It’s never serious…I promise!
Wrath: Then you get me so riled up that I hit you!
Decoda: That I never intend to happen. You’re just defensive like that…and sometimes, I make fun of you to impress people.
Wrath: Like my mom…look, I’m sick of you trying to get to my mom! She’s already taken buddy! I’m the proof!
~The red mammal suddenly lunged forward and grabbed the blue hedgehog’s arm with one hand and his neck with the other. He dragged him over to a desk and pinned him onto the desk, applying pressure. His face was close to Wrath’s, with a fire in his blue eyes. His bangs hung loose and his grip was strong. Wrath couldn’t move. ~
Decoda: I can get rid of you, can’t I? All I have to do is kill one of your parents, but since I’m a nice guy, I won’t do that. I’ll just switch the groom!
Wrath: *choking * Why?! Why?!?
Decoda: There are plenty of good reasons why I hate you…one: you take away my spotlight every time you come into the picture. Two: you just happen to be the son of some guy and my girl! I claimed her in grade school, damn it! Three: You cause nothing but trouble and trauma for those around you! I mean, come on! You just happen to show up when a war begins in our planet, warning us from it! You just happen to have the special chemical inside you that everyone wants! You just happen to be the Ultimate Life Form’s son! Is that all you are?! No! You’re the son of the most powerful robotic female android in the galaxy! IS THAT ENOUGH FOR YOU?!?!
~Decoda released his pressure and backed up from the hedgehog, who was breathing heavily, trying to regain lost air. Tears flowed down his face, and the sniffling began, but silently. Then, Decoda realized what he had said; surely he meant those things, but he didn’t know how bad he had hurt him. Not just physically, but mentally too. He looked down at his hands, which were shaking. He bit his lip, and shook his head, ashamed of himself. Wrath was still crying, but he began to speak, as though he wasn’t at all. ~
Wrath: It’s really hard carrying those titles…everyone mocks me for it…everyone thinks I’m the next “God” because of my power…I’m not…I’m not all that strong.
Decoda: Then how do you explain the fact that you can time travel whenever you want, just to do stuff like this?
Wrath: I can’t sometimes. I try to, but they fail, and I end up somewhere else…I did this time, because the world needs the “ultimate robotic life form”.
Decoda: You do this…to save your own name?
Wrath: Yes…I’m not the next savior, nor the next prince of power. But I am titled and must live up to my name! People depend on me!
Decoda: What happens when you fail?
Wrath: People lose faith, and my name and history are worth nothing.
Decoda: Just like a rock star; a name is soiled or black listed if the one guy sleeps with a young teenage fan, or drinks and gets into a massive car wreck entirely his fault…now I see…
Wrath: Exactly…
Decoda: I never knew…
Wrath: And, before I-- *wipes tears from eyes * I forget, the real reasons I came back, was for this new matter invasion, to see my mother and friends, and to see you.
Decoda: Now, you’re creeping me out…why me?
Wrath: I know this is kind of awkward but I’m honestly a huge “fan” of yours. It’s not like I listen to your music and go to your shows or nothing, but I sort of look up to you…
Decoda: But you hate me for everything I’ve done…or so I thought.
Wrath: No, I just get frustrated that my “idol” disapproves of me, and it’s actually a great honor to fight you and with you, and I want you to teach me! You have raw strength! The strength I don’t have! The confidence and mental power! That’s what I want!
Decoda: It’s not that hard to get either…
Wrath: Please! Be my sensei! Be my master! I want to learn your methods of mental enrichment! I want to be as strong as you when I talk to someone! I want to have the self-assurance to go up to a girl and ask her about the weather! I want to have the confidence to look someone in the eye when they ask me who I am! I need this!
~Decoda was speechless. Wrath was up in his face, hands on the red mammal’s shoulders, and eyes glossy with hope. This was the truth, and this was for real. Decoda shut his eyes for a moment, and placed his hands on the hedgehog’s shoulders. He smiled at him, and a slight nod made the blue boy’s face shine. Decoda then lifted his arms and wrapped them around Wrath. The hug, although short-lived, made the both of them a lot calmer than when they started off. Wrath wiped his eyes again, and grinned at his now official sensei. If he were to teach him his ways of confidence and power, Wrath would surely live up to his name and be a true hero. Decoda turned around and headed for the stone door that everyone else went through. Wrath walked behind him. Decoda opened the door, but found everyone inside panicking! ~

Dun, dun, da-dun! I have chapter 11 almost finished, but it should also be up today.

Fight scene here we go! This is another important chapter, because it includes an interesting detail about Nmeo and his powers.

Chapter 11: Battle at Nexus

~Crimson Cody and Dark Rage were still monitoring the window as a look out for the approaching “enemies”. Emily ran to Genesis and clung to him. Draco and Aqua embraced each other and didn’t let go. Zane ran in a circle around SonicCody, who wore a worried look on his face. ShadowChris stood emotionless as usually and Xero sighed while his head hung low as if in failure. Chase and Zeta stood their ground and Ferina and Rocky both held hands in fear. Kane ran over to the two that had just walked in to the room, and told them what they saw. Decoda and Wrath jumped in surprise and headed for the window to take a look for themselves. Indeed, the two figures were nearing their hideaway now. Nmeo looked around quickly and yelled. ~
Nmeo: EVERYONE! TRY NOT TO WORRY TOO MUCH OR MAKE NOISE! I CAN FIX THIS!!
~With that statement, the new matter warped out in the blink of an eye. The room fell silent and the cluster grew closer together for comfort. Outside, Nmeo had teleported to an asteroid behind a bright glowing star. He wasn’t detected or noticed, so he quickly devised a plan of action. The new matter once again shape shifted using his powers; this time he BECAME a new matter. The classical design for a new matter was simple, but each one had their own little piece of complexity somewhere on their bodies. He twisted up his pigtails into a double helix, whipped his hair bang backward to fuse in with his actual head, narrowed his eyeballs to thin ovals (normal eyes like everyone else), and tuned his yellow shimmer to an orange color. His hands and legs had also changed form and he lost his spines to make his tail longer. His 2 last fingers had combined, and shifted into a fin, and his feet had become claw like. This was the appearance of the average new matter his size and age. In order to protect himself and friends, he had to change shape. Nmeo then peered around the star and saw the figures approach. He slanted his eyes to attempt to see better, but since he altered his actual eyeballs, it cut back on his vision as well. ~
Nmeo: There you are, you intruders…I’LL TEACH YOU TO MESS WITH ME!!
~Instantly, the tips of Nmeo’s new hand-flippers became electrified with energy. He brought his hands close together and a small ball of blue light formed in between them. Once he had enough power, once he had enough charge in the attack, he launched it. ~
Meanwhile…
~Image and Tentako had stopped flying toward the location. The alien had become aware of a new feeling, so he glanced around. The space was vast, but since he was now in the Nebulae Nexus within the Andromeda Galaxy, the possible location of Nmeo, he needed to be on guard. He looked down at Tentako who had wondered why he stopped so suddenly. ~
Tentako: What’s a matter?
Image: I feel…a new presence…
Tentako: Could it be that Nmeo guy we want?
Image: Could be. It also could be a—
Tentako: LOOK OUT!!
~3 medium sized balls of blue energy shot out from a northern direction behind a cluster of bright stars and gasses. Tentako pulled Image off to the side so he wouldn’t get hit. The alien quickly re-engaged flight and his jet shoes to avoid more energy attacks. Then he flew with Tentako still hanging onto him behind an asteroid. He told him they were officially under attack and he needed his new friend to be in a safer place. ~
Image: I need to take this guy down! Go find some shelter!
Tentako: But there’s nothing out here!! How do you expect me to find “nothing”?!?
Image: Just go! I have to protect what little I have left! I’ll see you soon! I swear!
Tentako: No I—AAAAAHHH!!
~Image had thrown the mammal down and off to the side. Tentako was falling down, further and further, still screaming. Image watched him fall for a few moments, but returned to the open to face his attacker. The yellow mammal kept falling many more feet before he slammed into something; something invisible! Wearily, he got up to his knees and opened his eyes to nothing. He knocked on the “nothing” a few times and assumed it was something cloaked in invisibility. ~
Tentako: Well, I guess I did find “nothing”… But this “nothing” can’t be “nothing”, because it has enough strength to hold me…hmmm-Weird things happen in space…
~Slowly, he got up on his feet and began to kick the “nothing”. Underneath him, turned out to be the second room Nmeo had built for the UNU. Still in the same positions as before, everyone waited for their leader’s return. Suddenly, Wrath and his long ears perked up at the sound of a banging. It wasn’t too loud, but loud enough to be noticed. He turned to everyone and told them all to stop talking for a moment. They all froze and listened carefully. At last, Aqua heard it and she squeaked in fright. Draco, SonicCody, Emily, Genesis, Chase, Xero, and Ferina all caught on to the noise. ~
Ferina: Is it Nmeo making that noise?!
Wrath: I don’t think so…He’s made of dust and space stuff, remember? Space stuff isn’t that heavy sounding…
Genesis: Who else is up there that wouldn’t be a new matter?
Emily: Maybe it’s an alien!
Draco: Let’s find out!
Xero: Yeah, but how?
SChris: I have another genius idea!
Chase: What now, moron?
SChris: Why don’t we blow up the wall and take a peek outside?
SCody: You just like the explosion part, huh?
SChris: That, and I’m really bored…
Rocky: This wall is made of some really tough material…are you sure your bombs will be able to collapse it?
SChris: Nope! Which is why I want Xero to ram it!
Xero: What? Oh yeah…I’m pretty capable of taking down anything!
Zeta: But this wall, although made of a tough material that you can surely take down, is made of New Matter material as well. You have not obtained your power yet…it will have no effect…
Wrath: You can obtain my power at any time, sweetheart…
Kane: God…why…
Zeta: No thanks…
Draco: I got it! Why don’t you attach your bomb to his head? That way, when it blows up, it’ll blow up the wall with the momentum of Xero!
Aqua: And it’ll splatter his brains…
Draco: …Oh right…
Xero: Actually, that’s quite possible. I have my helmet with me…I could just put that on while I ram it. Here, someone attach the bomb.
~After a few minutes of restraining the satellite bomb to Xero’s helmet, he put it on, and walked toward the opposite end of the room. All 3 humans went into the other room, accompanied by Kane, Draco, Aqua, Emily, Zeta, Chase, Wrath, and Zane. ShadowChris, SonicCody, Decoda, Ferina, and Genesis waited in the second room with Xero. The red armored hedgehog leaned down into a running position. He took a deep breath, stared at the wall, and started running. His momentum gained so fast that before he collided with the wall, he ran up it, on the ceiling, down the other wall, and finally collided with the target wall, with a massive explosion. He flew backward, knocking his head in and became dizzy. His helmet was merely dented, and the bomb was shattered, proving that the wall was made of entirely new matter material. ShadowChris flew to his aid and attempted to give him a high-five. The others ran for the destroyed wall and looked up to discover what the knocking was. The blast was so powerful, it caused Tentako to trip and fall off the edge of the invisible nothing! He was about to go beyond reach, when Genesis whipped out his magical wind staff, and extended it out. Luckily, Tentako had grabbed it and was saved. ~
Tentako: *panting * Haa…haa…I’m never gonna let myself trust an invisible platform again!!
Meanwhile…
~Various attack and killer blasts were preformed before Image and Nmeo’s eyes. Still in disguise, Nmeo had shown himself fully, and charged all sorts of energy creations that even Image had not seen before. The alien gave up on using short distance shots, and whipped out his golden bow and arrow, handcrafted from the Black Arms race he found on Mobius a few years ago. He formed his arrows from raw power he had, and when shot, they burst into flames to inflict burn damage to the opponent. He shot 5 at once upon the new matter, but the speedy creature dodged them all. Returning his attack, Nmeo launched a huge beam coming from his up-turned hair. Image was swift enough to outrun it, but the battle raged on. More arrows were fired, and a few hit Nmeo. But the strike was retorted with a massive blast attack that made a successful hit on Image. The alien landed up against a star and was beginning to weaken from the over use of power. Nmeo he could see was also draining his energy, but faster than normal. This new matter, Image thought, wasn’t ordinary at all. Image replaced his bow with a red flaming blade, which had no hilt at all. He gripped it tightly, gritted his teeth together, and charged for Nmeo. He went so slowly, however, compared to Nmeo, for the new matter had also taken out his weapon of choice. The sword was short, but perfect sized for Nmeo; it was gold with sharp starred tip, which was used to project energy from. The hilt was orange and spiked at the edges, with 3 strange galactic symbols in the middle. Gripping it tightly, Nmeo applied pressure to the block and forced Image off of it. After many slashes and blocks, Image made one final attempt to strike the new matter down. He thrust forward, and struck Nmeo in the hip, causing him to freeze and collapse. He fell down many feet and smacked down on an asteroid underneath him. His limp body bounced when it struck the ground, and having him let go of the sword. Image, proud of his victory, went down to go investigate. Nmeo all ready began to bleed black, the “goo” that they saw at Tropic covering the Gray Residence. Suddenly, just as Image was about to walk away, Nmeo’s transformation back to his original form had begun to take place. In a matter of seconds, he returned to normal. Still unconscious and bleeding, Nmeo lay silent and cold on the asteroid surface. Image, shocked by this discovery, looked around for someone, but there wasn’t anyone within miles (or so he thought). He knelt down next to Nmeo, looked at his face and compared it to the one he saw on the computer screen back on that ship. It was him, but in disguise! He had been tricked without even knowing! How clever of the little thing! Frustrated that he feared he had killed his only help in the universe, Image held up his right arm and 2 fingers on his hand. Immediately, a red blast of light imitating a flare signal shot from his fingertips and soared into the space sky. Image took his hand down, and sighed heavily. Once more, he looked at Nmeo. ~
Image: I’m sorry…I had no idea it was you…forgive me…
~Instantly, the alien warped, out leaving behind his golden bow and Nmeo to lie on the asteroid. ~


Oh my god, Image! How could you! You @$$whole!! You just left him there to die--oh wait, he sent up a distress flare...
Poor Xero got blown up, but don't worry, he's okay!

( hey can Draco use his power against Image here

Image won't come back for another 2 chapters. But I guess when he does come back, Draco could get into a mini-battle with him. While I'm at it, are there any other suggestions? Any requests for a special scene?

I think this is THE chapter that everyone's been waiting for; it's got action, a dash of comedy, new characters, and an obscene coment from the hedgie in the tux. Please enjoy!

Chapter 12: The Lord and the Truth
~Back inside the base (the side that wasn’t destroyed) Tentako and Nmeo were both safely recovering from the mess. About 2 minutes after the group rescued Tentako from a fateful fall, SonicCody and Ferina had gone down to rescue Nmeo after they had seen the flare. No one noticed that Image was gone, or cared, but thankfully he had sent up a distress signal or else they would probably have never seen him again. Xero was also doing well, but he couldn’t remember anything after the creation of the new room (possibly caused by ShadowChris’ concussion grenade…). At this moment, Nmeo was beginning to reawaken. ~
Nmeo: Uh…wh-wha? What’s…where is he?
Genesis: *walks toward * Who? I didn’t see anyone with you.
SCody: Yeah, there wasn’t anyone there when we rescued you.
Ferina: He’s talking about his new opponent.
Nmeo: The guy in the red robe…who was he?
SChris: You lost…heheheh…
Emily: We don’t know him.
Chase: I never saw him before.
Rocky: I couldn’t see that far to tell.
CCdoy: *shakes head * No, I’m sure we don’t know him either.
Kane: A red robe…hmmm…
Nmeo: I guess he was just another new matter…I hope I didn’t give myself away too much…
Draco: I’m sure you didn’t. If you didn’t know him, its likely that he didn’t know you!
Aqua: Exactly! Maybe you scared him off after you fell?
Nmeo: That couldn’t be, because he followed me down. The last things I remember were his green eyes.
Kane: A red robe and green eyes…mmhmm…
DRage: He sounds like a real creep. If he ever comes by here again, I’ll teach him a lesson not to mess with you, or the UNU!
Decoda: Yeah, yeah. It’s probably some weirdo trying to kill you or something. You get that enough. Anyway, who is that guy?
~Everyone looks to Tentako, who was just waking from a short rest. He slowly opened his eyes and stared at everyone, getting a nervous feeling on the back of his neck. Who were these people? He didn’t know anyone there. And why were his clothes different?! He wore a yellow zipper jacket, and brown pants and was completely healed of all physical worries. How?! He felt so embarrassed and confused; he began sparking from his hands and feet. Wrath, brave enough to get closer, walked toward the yellow newcomer and spoke softly to him. ~
Wrath: I feel a lot of your energy…you have that power running through your bloodstream. Don’t you?
Tentako: J-Just who are you?! A-and what am I doing here?!
Wrath: We saved you from a deep space fall; can’t you at least say thanks?
Tentako: Not until I know your names and what I’m doing here! Maybe you don’t even deserve my thanks if you won’t tell me—
Wrath: All right already! This is the United Nations of the Universe. We’re a resistance to the New Matter takeover and he’s *points to Nmeo * our leader! You can call me Wrath. My family and friends are also here to help save our worlds from these monsters. Now will you explain yourself?
Tentako: *steadies powers * I-I’m Tentako. My planet has also been abducted by these things…how do I join your crew?
Nmeo: *sits up * You already are apart of it. You lost your planet and what else?
Tentako: What else? They took more?!?
Draco: He means your friends or family. Did they capture anyone you care about or hurt you in any way?
Tentako: Yeah…sure they hurt me. They brought me to a secret prison on an asteroid a ways back. They tortured me for my powers and tried to use them against me! I want vengeance!
~Tentako surged with rage and hatred; electrifying the ground he stood on. Wrath had picked up a few sparks and jumped back in pain. He refused to attack though because how unreasonable that sounded. So he yelled instead. ~
Wrath: Watch it! You almost caused a malfunction!
Tentako: Huh, sorry! It just I can’t control my power when they get outta hand like this!
Wrath: Well maybe you should learn to use them properly!
Tentako: How about we test them out on you – the proper way!
Wrath: You wouldn’t be able to land a hit, even if you had the right skill!
Tentako: I’ll make you take those words BACK!!
~Immediately, the yellow mammal charged at the hedgehog full speed, lightning shooting from his palms. Wrath caught his charge and tried to hold him back with his hands and arm strength, but he kept getting fried from the blasts of electricity. Nmeo attempted to get up, and try to stop them, but Decoda jumped out in front of him and ran towards the fighting two. The guinea pig screamed at the top of his lungs to try to stop Wrath from pushing it, but the hedgehog only became distracted and was knocked back even further. The blue rodent then burst into flames causing both Tentako and Decoda to fly backward onto their backs. Everyone else shielded themselves from the heat wave. Wrath stood in a battle stance, still burning, glaring at Tentako. The yellow mammal picked himself up and threw lightning bolts at the pyro-hog. Wrath was hit with a few and responded with fire balls, succeeding in hitting. Tentako returned fire with a blast of red lightning coming from both his hands, one on top of the other, palms wide open, facing his opponent. Wrath was struck, but since the lightning was still flowing, the hedgehog struggled to maintain his state. At last the red bolt had died, and both Tentako and Wrath had both flown backward into opposite walls, fainted. Rocky and SonicCody had run to the hedgehog’s side, while Nmeo ran to Tentako’s. ~
On Wrath’s side:
Rocky: Damn him…why can’t he stop himself?
SCody: I don’t know. But if he can’t stop now, he never will!
Rocky: What will become of him? *sigh *
On Tentako’s side:
Nmeo: You unfortunate person. Such a bad predicament. I know you didn’t mean to cause the fight, but you need to help yourself do the right thing and not go crazy!
~After a half an hour of cleaning up and waking the battler’s up, Nmeo decided it was best if he head over to Tentako’s planet to see what was up. Tentako pleaded to come along and see for himself what happened after he was taken. Nmeo also suggested it was a good idea for him to take along 2 scouting partners. ~
Nmeo: Uh, I pick…Genesis – you need some practice with your powers. And ShadowChris – I have a feeling you’ll be needed….
Genesis & SChris: WHAT?!?!?
Nmeo: Yeah, sorry. I just think you two need to work together a bit more. You know, brotherly cooperation?
SChris: There’s no such thing.
Genesis: I’m not working with him! Hmph!
Nmeo: That’s exactly why you need to. Maybe it’ll help heal the brotherly bond?
SChris: I don’t believe in that. Parents just tell kids that to fill kids heads with ideas.
Genesis: No thanks. I’d work with anyone else but him.
Nmeo: Hmm, I’m not convinced.
~Quickly, Nmeo rushed over and grabbed Tentako’s arm and pulled him toward ShadowChris. With his other hand, Nmeo grabbed the lord’s arm and in a flash of green light, he disappeared. Genesis was sure he’d come for him next, so he looked around the room frantically. He caught sight of someone moving up in the rafters, and in the opposite direction, ran for it. He jumped over tables and chairs and swung around the sturdy, wooden, poles holding the place together. Finally he stopped, but then he slowly turned around. In that split second, Nmeo had flashed back and returned behind him, grabbed his hand and with Genesis yelling, “No!”, the new matter took off. Everyone stood staring, then SonicCody spoke up. ~
SCody: Note to us: never try to outrun a new matter like her.
DRage: Actually, “she’s” a he.
SCody: Impossible! She laughs, looks and acts like a girl.
Aqua: Yeah, but she’s naked then. No girl in her right mind would go around naked!
Zeta: …are you saying that I need clothes?
Chase: I think she just means people her size. How would we find clothing to fit you?
Wrath: *inches over to Zeta * You can wear whatever you want hunny… *sexy growl *
Zeta: Thanks, but really, I’m not interested in your hardware.
Wrath: I’m curious about what your able to accept into your system.
~Zane whistled smoothly, and Ferina marched over to Wrath, enfuriated. She grabbed his long blue ear and tugged it harshly, and yanked him away from Zeta. The AI hedgehog had a disturbed look to her face, but was slightly red in the cheeks. The ferret girl had stopped dragging Wrath away and thrust him into a chair several feet away. Rocky looked at him with a raised eyebrow and shook her head disapprovingly. Kane sighed and put his hand on the hedgehog’s shoulder. Wrath sighed and shut his eyes, resting his cheeks in his hands and elbows on his knees. Crimson Cody looked around the room and saw something moving out of the corner of his eye. A brown door with a rusty handle had caught his attention. ~
~Meanwhile, on Tentako’s home planet, Nmeo and his accomplices arrived. The area they arrived in seemed deserted, destroyed, and desolate. Black goo was everywhere; Tentako gave the impression that he recognized the place. This must’ve been where he was captured. The marks from the new matter’s ships had been only a few feet away. Nmeo gave the signal to split up and search the surrounding section of land, and see if they could find anything worth checking out. Genesis looked around a destroyed spot of trees and shrubbery, while his brother looked around the place where the ships had landed and taken off. Tentako looked at the sky; it was dark, lonely, and depressing. The stars were out, but they appeared so dim and cloudy. The yellow mammal sighed and looked down at the ground for a moment. Within that moment, he discovered something. It appeared to be a piece of metal; it was stuck in the ground, protruding outward. He bent down and picked it out of the ground. It appeared to be a dagger; one of those weapons for ninjas. He shook his head and tossed it aside. Suddenly, out of the shadows, a rush of wind blew Tentako’s hair and forced it to stand on end. It rushed past him, picked up the dagger and dashed for Nmeo! Tentako spun around as fast as he could and watch the thing grab the new matter and hold his neck. A green echidna stood holding the young matter, dagger to his neck. Although getting harmed by a non-new matter attack wouldn’t bother Nmeo much, the fact that he came up out of nowhere had scared him. Genesis and ShadowChris had ran towards the event, and stood in battle position. Then all of a sudden, the echidna spoke aggressively. ~
???: Nobody move and the alien doesn’t die!
Nmeo: Uhh, I’m in trouble!
???: Quiet you beast! You harmed our people, destroyed our land, and took our friends! Why you would do such things is beyond me, but it will end today!
Genesis: Stop! He’s not the one you want!
???: Oh, yeah? Then whom do I want? You instead?!
Genesis: I—
SChris: No, stop it hero. You’re wasting your time with my employee.
???: What? Lord? Is that you?
SChris: Aye. It’s me, and I took sides with the one you’re trying to decapitate.
???: But why? What has he offered you that are more important to you than your own safety?
SChris: Rizuk, they took my top robot, and possibly are attempting to take over my castle. Besides, I could probably afford to buy new safety insurance!
Nmeo: …you are upset by what my kind did to you. I’m sorry for you. But please let me go and I’ll explain!
Rizuk: I—I—agh…fine…
???: What are you doing you blundering ninja?!
~As the green echidna called Rizuk let go of Nmeo and took off his hood on his cloak, a dark hooded figure appeared behind him and a brush of the wind. Genesis stared at the new person with an exposed bird tail. His cloak flowed although there was no feel of wind at all. The green and red hedgehog knew by the sensing of his magic, this opponent was also a user of the wind. But he also felt another presence blocking his power; the presence of darkness was just as strong as the presence of light inside of Genesis. The hedgehog had stepped forward and pulled Nmeo aside. The new matter stared in awe as he watched the introduction of 2 wind mages. Tentako and ShadowChris just looked on from a safer point. The purple hedgehog also had another secret in the back of his head. He too had recognized this power as another one of his employees. ~
???: I told you not to let him go. Why did you?
Rizuk: I don’t follow the orders of you, pal. I can’t stand you. And by the way…you probably should know that our boss is here…
???: ShadowChris?! *looks at * This can’t be…
SChris: Can it?

OH CRAP IT'S TO F***IN' BIG!! XD READ THE NEXT POST FOR THE REST OF IT!

Tentako: Guahh, this is so confusing! I’ve had it!
~Tentako began to spark, but ShadowChris held his hand up to his face. The yellow mammal stopped and the lord put his hand down. ShadowChris then walked over to the dark cloaked mammal and with his magic, ripped off his hood, exposing himself as a white and red haired echidna. It growled in response. Nmeo stood lost in his own world trying to figure out what was going on. Genesis merely stood, waiting. ~
???: You humiliated me for the last time!
SChris: Oh, so I ripped off your hood. Next time it’ll be the whole cloak, Wrave!
Wrave: I’ll have you know, that what you’re doing is a big mistake! You can’t trust those things!
Nmeo: *speaking up carefully * Why did you try to kill me?
Wrave: Are you deaf? We can’t bear to see you around! You did all this! *points around area *
Genesis: NO! No, he didn’t!
~The green hedgehog stepped forward forcefully sticking his face in Wrave’s. The echidna grimaced at the sight of him and knew by his eyes he was also a wind mage. He raised his eyebrows and pushed him aside, without taking that glare off of him. ~
Wrave: You new matters are nothing but the scum of the universe. I can never trust you again.
Nmeo: You don’t even know me! I helped these guys, I can—
Rizuk: Hey, Wrave, he’s got something to this. What if he isn’t the leader? What if he’s just a pawn?
Wrave: That doesn’t mean he isn’t harmful! I say we kill him anyway!
Genesis: You want to kill any of my friends, and you’ll be dealing with me!
Wrave: Oh really?
Genesis: Ya, really!
Wrave: O rly?
Genesis: Ya, rly!
SChris: …MY MONEY’S ON WRAVE….
Tentako: You’re a big help…AHHH!!!
~Suddenly, a rock struck the back of the yellow mammal’s head. Tentako spun around swiftly to see a human boy about 15 years in age with a disturbed look. He wore a white T-shirt, jeans, sneakers, with hair as black as night and red eyes to match. Tentako stared viciously growling at this new comer. Nmeo was the first to speak up this time. Rizuk recognized him and was about to cut Nmeo off, but ShadowChris silenced him. ~
Nmeo: Who goes there?
???: Why should I tell a new matter?
Nmeo: *mutters: Geez, is everyone new-matter-ist on this planet? *
???: Those beasts stole my brother and ruined my world! I’ll vanquish them all for that!
Tentako: I’LL VANQUISH YOU FOR THROWIN’ THAT ROCK AT ME!!
~Charging his electric, and unleashing a blast at the new human, Tentako raged power. In a split second the lightning attack reached the human, but he wasn’t injured; instead he had transformed! The human’s new transformation, a scary dog, had dodged the attack and leaped forward at the yellow mammal and began to bite! Ripping Tentako’s clothing the shape shifter cut him up so badly, he began to bleed in his arms, legs, face, and torso! Nmeo rushed over and kicked the demon dog off of Tentako and it transformed back into a human. The boy stood up, and snarled. ShadowChris held onto Tentako’s shoulders, holding him back from charging. But then a few sparks flew from the yellow mammal’s body and shocked the lord! Tentako ran at the newer opponent but was caught by a blast of wind, dragging him backward! Genesis had saved the kid from a lifetime of electricity, but only to be blasted by a silver wind from Wrave! Rizuk kicked Wrave in the back of the knee, causing him to fall and the green echidna began to scream at the white one. ~
Rizuk: YOU HAVE TO LET GO! THERE’S NO WAY YOU’LL GET HER BACK WHEN YOU’RE FIGHTING OUR ONLY POSSIBLE ALLIES!
Wrave: …b@$tards…you’re all a bunch of stupid b@$tards…
Rizuk: NO WE AREN’T! WE’RE NOT GIVING UP! YOU CAN’T JUST GO BLAMING ONE THING WHO DOESN’T KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON!!
???: BUT WHAT IF HE DOES?!?! WHAT IF HE’S LYING?!
SChris: He isn’t.
Everyone: Wha-?
SChris: What this little thing says is true. It’s happening to everyone, and there’s more than just you’re dumb wasteful lives that he’s worried about. Now are we going to trust him, and help save our planets and friends?
Genesis: …I never knew you actually paid attention this time.
SChris: Pshh, I was just bored. What else could you do in outer space that’s fun?
Nmeo: Thanks, Chris. I owe you one.
SChris: Really? But what did I do?
Nmeo: *giggles * Come one everyone. Can’t we just cooperate today? We’ll cover everything when we get back to the base. Are you with me?
Everyone: *reluctantly * Fine.
Nmeo: Good. Now grab on; we’ll be warpin’ out now!
~All the guys grabbed hands and Nmeo disappeared with them all in flash. In the distance, a manhole stood untouched. Then, all of a sudden, the manhole quivered violently, and exploded out lava! The blast landed next to the manhole, and instantly created a shape. The shape formed and twisted and turned into a red fox with a red trench coat, red messy hair, and a white furry muzzle. His yellow eyes opened and as he walked over to the spot where the group warped, he picked up a piece of Tentako’s messy yellow hair. He sniffed it and shook his head. Then he dropped the hair and looked at the sky. He lifted his hand to it and began to change back into the lava in which he was formed. The lava rolled up into ball like comet, and flew up in the air. Then it burst into flames and jetted out of the atmosphere and continued on to where the scent was being taken. ~

Now, its done. Whew! That was a lot of words! Do you know my document for this is now over 65 pages long?!? 'o'

Welcome back to reading about everyone's favorite unstoppable force of the universe, the new matter! This one is short, but crucial. So pay attention!

Chapter 13: The Job No One Wants To Do
Rizuk: Whoa…how many people are there in this “UNU”?
Nmeo: We’re up to about…22.
Wrave: That’s not enough for an army though.
~Nmeo gave the new wind mage a flat-eyed look. The white echidna shrugged and looked around the room. All the other people stared at the newcomers, and after a few minutes of explaining what was going on from the new matter himself, they seemed to fit right in to the program. Kyou, the human from the Medusa galaxy, had explained he lost his brother, Xeche. Rizuk had commented that he was Xeche’s partner, and he agreed to help Kyou save his brother. Wrave told them, reluctantly and sorrowfully, that he had lost his girlfriend Hope. He said they had been dating for about 2 years and he didn’t want to lose her. Nmeo began to ask questions on why they were taken. ~
Nmeo: In order to understand New Matter, you must know what they want. What do you think made them take Xeche and Hope?
Kyou: Xeche has a key blade. He uses the powers of light and always keeps it by his side.
Tentako: Wait, if the new matters are dark, why would they want the light? Wouldn’t that kill them?
Nmeo: On the contrary. New Matter are attracted to anything with power. If this means light, then they’ll take anything they can get!
Tentako: Then, what does kill a new matter?
Nmeo: I don’t like to talk about it…any other questions? Besides what I can get killed with?
Wrave: How do we get them back? We don’t know where they’re being kept.
Tentako: I have an idea, but I don’t remember how to get there.
~The others began to walk into the conversation. The rest of the team couldn’t deny it; they were all curious about the new members. A few spoke up to question Tentako’s knowledge about the whereabouts of the others. ~
Draco: Do you know what it looks like?
Tentako: Only from the inside. I didn’t get a good look on the outside.
Ferina: What did the inside look like?
Tentako: From what I remember…ah, I think it was a jail.
Emily: That sounds so scary! How did you get out?
Tentako: I was helped…some guy who I’ve never seen before just came out of the blue and found an exit for us to escape. He was dark, with red scales and narrow green eyes…I can’t remember anything else.
Rocky: Did he say where he was from?

Wrath: I though he was dead.
Rocky: Impossible…I killed him…
Decoda: We all saw that. I’ll never forget that day.
Ferina: He blew my friends and me up! Why did he choose to save this Tentako guy?!
Rocky: He’s…he’s not all bad…he was just mad with power that day.
Decoda: He tried to kill you and your sister. Why defend a murderer!?!
SCody: Because she chose to believe in the good instead of evil that resided in him.
Wrath: Cody, step out of this. This is a matter you don’t know of.
SCody: You’re right, but if there’s a guy out there attempting to kill my family I’m going to get involved!
Draco: Cody’s right. We should watch out for this guy!
DRage: I don’t know if we can trust him or not. That’s it. I think we shouldn’t let anyone else join the UNU.
Xero: Why not? We need all the help we can get!
DRage: If we let anyone else in, there’s a chance that the Image guy could be under a disguise. We can’t trust anyone but those who are captured.
Zane: I agree with that! I may not have enough common sense to tell which ones he could be disguised as, but we have to keep our eyes peeled and our guards up!
SChris: ALL IN FAVOR OF NOT LETTING ANYONE ELSE IN, SAY AYE!
Everyone: AYE!
SChris: Not so fast! Say “AYE, AYE CAPTAIN!”
Chase: No one cares.
SChris: Nuh-uh! Wrave cares!
Wrave: *raises eyebrow * Right…sure.
Nmeo: Now wait a second everybody. We can’t just diss every new member just because we find them suspicious of disguise! We have to learn to trust! If we don’t, then we’ll just be committing the same acts of the New Matter! Prejudice, and mistrust are what they do best! You can’t seriously give in to that! It’s wrong.
Genesis: Nmeo is right. You have to give someone a chance before going and bashing their name. Just because they had a bad reputation in the past, doesn’t mean that they can’t have the opportunity to change.
Emily: I guess so. What do you think Ms. Zeta?
Zeta: I may be malfunctioning, but Genesis is right. We shall give them a chance!
Wrath: Listen to the naked digital lady, people! She speaks the truth! Image never really intended to kill us! I swear, I was there!
Kane: But if he tries anything funny, we nail him for sure! It’s been 2 years since that attack anyway.
Aqua: He might not even remember hurting you all.
Nmeo: Right. Well, I say we all get some rest. I’m sure we’re all tired. I’ll get some beds!
~In a few moments, Nmeo was hovering over the group and spun around 3 times. He snapped both his fingers on the 3rd time and the room filled with sparkles and smoke. In a bunch of puffs of smoke, some of the tables turned into full king sized beds with pillows and comforters! The crowd was stunned. There were enough beds for everyone; that is, if they shared. Some people were reluctant to share a bed with one another, but the guys had to separated from the girls. Rocky, Emily, and Ferina took one bed, while Zeta, and Aqua took another. Draco, SonicCody, and Wrath climbed into one bed, and Tentako, Zane and Decoda took another one. Dark Rage, Crimson Cody, and Kyou all went into one bed, and Kane, Decoda, and Rizuk grabbed another. Wrave, ShadowChris, and Xero snagged one, while Genesis and Nmeo got the last one. Some of the boys made comments on how it was weird to sleep in the same bed as another guy, and the girls just giggled exclaiming it was just like a slumber party in outer space. No one had changed clothes (except for the shoes – no one wanted to sleep with their shoes on), for it would be too awkward and complicated for all that to go underway. After a few minutes of saying goodnight, Nmeo clapped his hands two times and the lights of the room dimmed and went out. ~
~All of a sudden, Crimson Cody awoke with a start. He jumped up out of bed and put on his shoes. He heard some soft whispering coming from somewhere in the room. Then spotted the same door he saw earlier. It was about 20 feet away from him, but he walked to it anyway. Everyone else was still resting in a deep slumber. The door seemed to glow a faint light bluish color as he approached it. When he finally reached it, he put his hand to its surface. It felt cold to the touch, but since he had ice powers, it didn’t mind him at all. Now that he was there, the door looked a lot like a walk-in freezer you would find at restaurants. Carefully grabbing the handle, Crimson pulled it open, and cold air flowed out. He opened it enough so he could just slip in and shut it behind him. Surprisingly, the door remained unlocked; the opposite of what he though might happen. Looking around, he noted that the freezer looked like a small room with 4 large crystallized, cylindrical tanks. He stepped closer to them, admiring their craftsmanship. They weren’t hooked up to any power source, and looked as if they’d been built for a specific kind of object to be frozen. But what would Nmeo be doing with a room full of frozen tanks? In the next second, the whisper returned, but it was louder and clearer to Crimson. ~
???: I know you have a gift.
CCody: Who are you? Where are you?
???: You’re a very powerful being. I respect that in someone.
CCody: Cut it out! You’re being too cryptic! And stop you’re whispering! I can’t sleep!
???: Neither can I.
~Just then, a wisp of blue and black swirled around in tornado shape in front of Crimson Cody. He stood in a battle stance, ready to take on his summoner. When the swirl faded, a ghostly figure appeared in the form of a female New Matter. She had long “hair” that appeared to be braided; shiny colors of blue, yellow, and purple streaks wrapped around her eyes, arms, legs, and chest. She wore nothing but a loose and flowing skirt that went down to her knees in a dark faded purple color. Her eyes were big and luminously green. In a way, she reminded Crimson of Nmeo. When she spoke, it matched the whisper tone. ~
???: I’ve been waiting for someone with your kind of power.
CCody: Wait, my power?
???: Yes. The power of ice and freezing. Just like this chamber.
CCody: My power has to do with this chamber? How?
???: *strides over to one tank * You will freeze them in these tubes.
CCody: Who?
???: You will freeze the dead in these tubes.
CCody: WHAT?! NO ONE IS DEAD?!
???: Yes, but in time, in every war, some soul is lost.
CCody: I CAN’T DO THAT! NO ONE WILL DIE!
???: You can be surprised how one dies. Take my death for instance.
CCody: Your death? How did you die? In war?
???: Giving birth to the miracle child that will end the war. My name is Vega. I am the mother of the savior child.
CCody: The savior child. Are you talking about Nmeo? Are you Nmeo’s mom?
???: Is that my boy’s name? Ah, I remember his eyes. So big, I though he was a girl. *giggle *
CCody: So, Vega. Why are you telling me to freeze the dead?
Vega: I tell you because not only do you have the power to do so, but you have the spirit to risk your own life to save the ones you love and care for. That’s what makes a hero – just like Nmeo will be one day.
CCody: I understand. How will I tell this to Nmeo?
Vega: You mustn’t. If he knows I exist in spirit, then he will surely never want to leave and fight! He must fight with the fact knowing I cannot see him, even though I can.
CCody: He’s your son! He has the right to know about your existence!
Vega: I can’t let you tell him! Please! The time will be right when he does know, I promise you! Just don’t let him find out about me!
CCody: Then how do I hide this room and freeze those who die?
Vega: This room will not be secret. Anyone can come in, but if they ask you who led you to this finding, then you shall reply, “An instinct told me what I had to do was right.”
CCody: An instinct. Okay, I get it. Thanks for telling me this, but what will freezing the dead do for us?
Vega: I cannot say. My time communicating grows short. I can no longer stay in contact. I shall return if you need my assistance, Crimson Cody. Farewell.
~With the same swirling tornado as before, Vega the New Matter was gone and Cody was alone in the freezer once again. He sighed and exited the room after one last, sorrowful look at the tanks. He shut the door, and immediately it stopped glowing. Crimson then began to walk back to the bed in the dark, but stopped short. The last thing Vega said to him was his name and farewell. How did she know his name if he didn’t even say it? He shivered in fright, and took off his shoes. He crawled back into the bed and went to sleep, the awful sound of freezing the dead still in his mind. ~

Oh, you'll see....it's actually quite disgusting...but I'm not givin' any more away. That'll be discussed in a really late chapter. I got a strange feeling that this is going to branch over to be about....50 some odd chapters...maybe.

Chapter 14: Matter Massacre
~On Planet Mobius, in the city of Soleanna, the Dark Matter was spreading their army. Hordes of troops rallied and slaughtered the people of the city of water. Black goo was blasted throughout the entire area, covering the surface of the rivers and weighing down the boats, causing them to sink into the water. The majority of the citizens were eliminated within a matter of 2 hours. The buildings were demolished to nothing and the sticky black goo from the New Matter strung like thin wire all over the Altar of Light. Then a massive ship came down and landed right next to the castle. The thing was 3 times the size of the once white domain of the ruler of Soleanna. When the thrusters had died, and the door of the ship opened, a short ramped staircase unfolded out, touching the ground. A door opened at the top of the case, and a tall dark figure stood. Slowly, the figure came down, followed by one other dark being. The two New Matters stepped off the ramp and they appeared as top men in the army. The first one was known as Sirius, with thin, scary eyes, red tipped dreadlocks, and a slight muscular build. He also had a long swirled tail, wore loafers, thin gray gloves, a silk red cape, and a red painted, steel body suit. His chin was protruding and he had large curvy ears. The second one looked a little more like a brutal creep from boot camp; he was a tall, buff, and deep voiced new matter. He had short, twin spines coming out of either side of his head, tipped in deep purple. He had no tail, and was dressed in a blue generals suit, with gold shoulder plates and tassels, matched with no gloves, gray pants with a belt, and combat boots. His cape was black and shorter than Sirius’. This New Matter, known as Aldebaran, was tough, strict, and showed no emotion with the exception of anger. The two then began to head into the castle, next to their ship. Grunts had the doors open, and Swimmers lined the halls. Sirius and Aldebaran entered a room where the Royal Highness was kept, Princess Elise. The Crushers and Grunts surrounded the room, as the two higher up New Matter closed the door behind them. The Princess was standing; frightened tears ran down her cheeks. Her dress was battered and torn, and lost its luminous white color. Sirius then spoke first, addressing her. ~
Sirius: So. You are the feeble little girl who rules this domain, yes?
Elise: …y-yes…
Sirius: What’s the matter, child? Oh, that’s right…NEW MATTER!!
Elise: J-just…just tell me what you want!
Sirius: All right then. The throne.
Elise: W-what?
Sirius: You heard me witch! Relinquish your throne to me, and I’ll let you live among the other hostages.
Elise: The t-throne? I….
~Sirius snapped his gloved fingers, and the Grunts behind them, ran out the door. In a matter of moments, 2 others were brought in the room. One was a blue hedgehog with green eyes, and the other was a blonde, blue-dressed hedgehog with blue eyes. They were both frightened, and had their arms tied up behind them. The blue hedgehog lifted his head and saw the Princess, whom he knew from before. ~
Sonic: E-Elise?! NO!!
Juliet: *looks up at Sirius * Just what do you want from us?!
Sirius: Well, of course your power. But what else do we want? Slaves? Land? Perhaps even…food?
~The Grunts and the Crushers licked their lips at the hostages. Sonic and Juliet tore away from the New Matter, and ran over to Elise who began to untie them, but was stopped by the sound of Sirius’ voice. ~
Sirius: We just need to know one more thing before we kill you: will you give me the throne?
Elise: …*bows head *
Sirius: That’s a good girl. Take them away.
~The other soldiers took away the struggling hedgehogs and human, and all that were in the room was Sirius and Aldebaran. The new king sat on his chair, and sighed. He smiled at Aldebaran, and began to talk again. ~
Sirius: You know, you haven’t said a word since we arrived. Is something wrong?
Aldebaran: I didn’t want to say this in front of the others. We lost communication with Capella on Planet Tropic.
Sirius: WHAT?! THAT CAN’T BE?!
Aldebaran: It is true. Soon after I logged off of the line. I tried to call in for a check up, but the whole place was unable to be found! I can only assume that Capella and his army are dead.
Sirius: IMPOSSIBLE!! NO ONE HAS EVER DEFEATED THE NEW MATTER ARMY!! *rises from chair, causing it to break * GET THE PHONE!!
Aldebaran: I all ready sent the message to the Queen. She has it taken care of. It seems as if someone is strong enough to take us on.
Sirius: Who? Who can it be?
~Sirius began pacing the room since he broken his royal chair. Aldebaran sighed and grabbed his shoulder. He nodded at him, and took his hand off. He rotated the knob on the door, and opened it. He strode off down the hallway and the new king followed. Minutes later, they arrived in a room they had all ready stuffed with their equipment and devices. A submarine’s look out tube had been placed in the middle of the room and Aldebaran took a look. All he saw was black goo among the buildings and the army stalking the streets. He took his eyes from it, and turned to Sirius. ~
Aldebaran: I have a clue as to who might be doing this.
Sirius: What could it be?
Aldebaran: My son.
Meanwhile….
~Sonic, Elise, and Juliet were all lined up in the torture room, once the castle’s ballroom. Sonic looked the worst out of the three, and Juliet still had that bump on her head from when she was captured. Elise was flooding the floor with tears, and Sonic tried to calm her down. Juliet kept thinking of nicer thoughts: Emily playing at the beach, Genesis surfing the wind, and a picture of a park picnic traveled through her mind. She sniffled, but refused to cry. Then, she remembered something important – the water. The city was the city of water. Elise was crying up a storm – water. Water was everywhere! Juliet could try to mange something, if only she could get untied. ~
~Suddenly, he necklace glowed. She looked at it, amazed, and became entranced by its power surging through her body. Her mind flooded with ideas, and she felt the wind blowing through her blood stream. She could make it! She could save them all! Then, her necklace stopped glowing. She gasped, wondering where all that power went. But before she new it, the yellow hedgehog was shimmering white lights herself! She felt all sorts of power coursing through her brain and body. Sonic, Elise, and all the bad guys had turned to look. The Grunts and Crushers ran back a few feet, to escape the light. They must be afraid of her! Then, after a few minutes, she stopped glowing and she fell to the ground in a heap. None of the New Matter wanted to touch her. Elise, who was not tied up, saw a chance and undid Juliet’s rope, then Sonic’s. The hedgehog ran over to help up the young girl and she awoke. He smiled, and grabbed the two girls hands. In a rush of speed, all three hostages had bolted out of the room. ~
~The speedy hedgehog and the two girls, Juliet now conscious, fled the castle without being noticed. Panting, they all stopped and sat behind a few tall barrels of apples covered in goo. Elise thanked Sonic and Juliet for saving her. The blue hedgehog grinned, but the yellow hedgehog frowned. She looked out towards the black-coated water. As if mesmerized, Juliet stood up and walked toward the water. It flowed as she neared the edge of the stone walk way. Sonic and Elise tried to bring her back to the safer area, before she was detected, but it was no use! All of a sudden, a blast of energy came out of nowhere and shot Juliet in the arm! The New Matter Grunts had found her! Sonic watched Juliet then, stumble and fall into the black river. He yelled, and then picked up Elise. She pointed to a far off rooftop where they were shooting from and screamed when they fired at them. Sonic moved quickly and dodged the blasts of energy. He jumped over the river Juliet had fallen into, and ran off to avoid getting struck. The New Matter came down from the rooftops to collect their prize in the water, but as soon as they neared it, a huge black wave shot up into the air, as high as 30 feet tall! The wave then roared down upon the Grunts and washed them all away causing them to implode! Their goo just became part of the monster wave wiping out all of the New Matter on that particular street. Sonic and Elise, about a mile away, turned around just in time to see the massive wave of darkness crush every new matter in sight. Sonic looked closer and to his surprise, the young blonde hedgehog was floating, glowing and seemed to be controlling the wave. ~


Yes, bask in the awesomeness that is Juliet! She's my favorite out of all Geoff's chars! And she's easy to draw! ^_^

Juliet's attack is called Matter Magic Wave - it, just like in the story, wipes out any new matter in sight, as long as there's liquid. She can even melt the new matter into that black goo and use that, but only when she has enough power or energy.

Yes there are still some people without powers, but once they get into battle, they'll gain them. Don't worry, I didn't forget you powerless people! ^_^

Chapter 15: The Fight of Friendship
Genesis: JULIET!!!!
~In a rush of wind, the green and red hedgehog sat up in a fright. The wind was so powerful that the comforter, and Nmeo flew all the way across the room, smacking into another bed with Draco X, SonicCody, and Wrath. The impact knocked them all into a dizzy state. The green hedgehog stood motionless on the bed, while everyone else woke up. Finally, the New Matter got up and jumped over to Genesis. ~
Nmeo: What the heck happened to you?!
Genesis: I-I saw her…I saw Juliet…she was…she looked…cursed!
Nmeo: A premonition perhaps?
Genesis: No, like it was actually happening right now! I’ve got to go save her! She could be in trouble! And whether you come or not, I’m going to rescue the rest of the crew too!
~The green hedgehog leaped off the bed, and went over to the one shared by Aqua, Emily, and Zeta. He pulled Emily from the two girls and dragged her off the bed. She questioned his actions, but he just looked at her, eyes flaring. She gasped, and shook her head in refusal. ~
Emily: I don’t wanna go! Genesis, you need to understand that Juliet can handle herself!
Genesis: Not from the vision I just got a hold of. We need to save her. Don’t you want your sister back alive?
Emily: Yes, but not like this!! Genesis, stop!
Genesis: …*tears from right eye *
~While the New Matter was getting rid of the beds with the flick of his wrist, the rest of the resistance headed over to the situation. All of their faces lit up with worry – except for ShadowChris who had no emotion. ~
Wrave: I thought you were gutsy, hedgehog. But now you’re just acting weird.
Ferina: Maybe you need to stay here.
SChris: He’s a stubborn jack@$$. You know he wants to go save his girlfriend.
Xero: You just killed the tender moment, you jerk.
Zeta: Perhaps it is time for another battle.
Zane: I need those powers though!
Decoda: A lot of us didn’t get any powers.
Aqua: Right. But possibly we’ll get them during this fight?
CCody: I think that’s fair. But isn’t Nmeo in charge of that?
DRage: I’m sure he is, but I don’t think he can choose when.
Nmeo: What about me?
Chase: You can choose when to give and take powers, yes?
Nmeo: I only choose the powers. I don’t decide when you get them.
~Within the next 20 minutes before departure, Nmeo explain the where’s and what’s. He told them that General Sirius had control Soleanna on Planet Mobius. He mentioned his need for power and desire to control their throne. He also told them the captives they held, including Sonic, Princess Elise, and Juliet. Genesis tensed when the New Matter repeated the girl hedgehog’s name. Emily put her hand on his arm and he relaxed slowly. Then the New Matter made everyone, yes EVERYONE, and line up in a single file line. Just as Nmeo was about to give the command to teleport, a blinding flash followed by a loud crash came from the back of the room! The entire resistance got into battle stance. They looked like an army ready to take down a castle the way they stood. Rising from the back and landing on the rafters, stood a 3 foot 8 inch dark alien dressed in a pilot’s coat, yellow wide-rim glasses, brown slacks, and maroon boots. His headband and belt depicted 3 symbols: planet, galaxy, and Universe. He also had scales colored bluish purple on the tips of his locks, twin horns and tail. His eyes were bright orange and his smile curled his lips. He spoke with a deeper accent and glared at Tentako with a twinkle in his eye. ~
Tentako: *mutters: Image… *
Rizuk: Who?
Tentako: Ah, nothing…
Nmeo: Who are you?! How did you get in here?!
Image: I hear you are starting an attack on Mobius, and I want in.
Nmeo: WHAT?!
~Kicking off the ground in a burst of flames, Nmeo flew up to the new comer, and got in his face. The crystalline eyes glowed with intensity and rage. Image stood emotionless. ~
Nmeo: I don’t know HOW you found out, or WHO you think you are, but you wear the garments of a New Matter.
Image: I am.
Tentako: *gasp * That’s why he was hunted down…
Rizuk: Seriously, are you okay? You keep muttering to yourself!
Tentako: I’m fine! Leave me be!
Kyou: You shouldn’t yell at him – he’s your teammate after all.
Tentako: Shut up, shape shifter…
~Jumping down from the rafter he stood on, Image landed on the soft carpet beneath his feet. The other whispered to each other suspiciously while Nmeo situated himself behind the stranger. His glare was frightening, especially to those who though of him as an innocent little child. ~
Image: What’s your name, New Matter?
Nmeo: …
Image: Shy, aren’t you?
Nmeo: No way.
~The leader new matter turned to the group of chattering members and announced the joining of Image. Rocky, Kane, Wrath, and Decoda were especially interested in this, for they believe they had seen him before. Then Nmeo raised his hand for silence. When everyone quieted down, the New Matter took liberation and introduced everyone to Image. ~
Nmeo: Well, stranger…since you’re now a part of our happy little family, you’ll need to know the rest of the members. In order from one end of the line to the other here is the entire UNU.
~Concentrating hard, Nmeo entered the minds of all those in line. He reached deep into their thoughts, gathering only the information he needed to come up with Codenames for them, so Image wouldn’t know their true identity. ~
Nmeo: Knuckles, Spark, Edge, Vein, Villain, Uno, Agent, Eta, Speed, Dragon Master, Hydra, Icyro, Demono, Hero, Happy, Maestro, King, Pyro, Track, Roqueta, and Dancer.
Wrave: I’ve been violated.
SChris: Violated through our minds.
SCody: I don’t feel clean up there…
DRage: I got a headache…
Emily: Icky.
Wrath: *throws up *
Rocky: He used my real name…that’s my birthright name…
Nmeo: So, stranger, now you know everyone’s name. What’s yours?
Image: Not everyone. You still haven’t told me who you are.
Nmeo: Ah….I-I’m…Polaris.
Image: Very well, Polaris. My name is Mizar. As you know I came to help all of you take down the New Matter race. I am one of you, and you can trust me with your life.
~Image glared at Rocky from across the room. She caught his gaze and her eyes grew wide. She was sure she’s seen him before, but was unsure where! Kane looked over at her, and she turned to him. He gave her a look of discomfort, and she replied with a nod. Then the suspicious new comer spoke again. This time, to Nmeo. ~
Image: I want to make sure you can trust me by going on this rampage with you. Who knows? I might just save your life.
Nmeo: Very interesting mister Mizar, but I won’t need any saving with this team! Come on! Let’s go crush General Sirius!
~Everyone roared with power and strength in their hearts. Tentako eyed Image, and was a little confused why he was doing this. The alien went over to him just before they left and held out his hand in a handshake position. Tentako uneasily took his hand and shook it gently. His smile faded when Nmeo called the warping command, and everyone was gone from the room. ~
~Meanwhile back on Mobius, Juliet’s attack had wiped every new matter from the streets of Soleanna. All that’s left were inside the castle, and on the rooftops of the buildings, which were counted down to 300. Sonic the Hedgehog and Princess Elise were still standing in awe at the hovering Juliet. Finally the girl stopped and fell back into the water. Together, Sonic and Elise ran over and with a stick, pulled her out of the water. The girl was nearly faint from overuse of power, and the human and the hedgehog were out of hiding places. Frantically, Sonic looked around, to try to find a safe place. When he saw that the bell tower was empty of its guards, he picked up Juliet, and grabbed Elise’s hand. Then he zoomed over to the barren tower and hid inside. ~
Sonic: We should be safe for now.
Elise: I don’t understand. Why are these things attacking?
Sonic: I’m not sure. They attacked me right at my home! They must want something from us!
Juliet: Power…
Elise: Look, Sonic! You poor girl! You saved us, and you’re so exhausted.
Sonic: Hey, are you okay?
Juliet: *cough cough * they want power…when I was attacked, they were unaffected by…Genesis’ attacks and mine…but they only kidnapped me. I always though he was stronger…
Elise: My throne is a symbol of power.
Sonic: No one has been able to control both the Chaos Emeralds and World Rings, but me.
Juliet: I have magic in my heart and soul.
Elise: But once they have all that power, what will they do with it?

Awesome Cut scene Time: (using the power of Sonic Next Gen graphics, I created this scene in my mind, and it looks amazing. If you can, picture it with me. )

~Soleanna, the city of water, now looks bleak with dark goo spread unevenly throughout the city. The sky is cloudy, demonic, and pitch black. The streetlights are barely lit, and the Altar of Light remained burning its blackish flames. The water is tainted with goo, and all the boats have been sunken. It’s been 5 hours since the attack now, and all ready the city appears as if the New Matter had tormented it for years. The UNU stood on top of a building, looking down upon this depressing scene. Everyone’s hair flowed in the soft breeze, and his or her eyes glowed with intensity. Nmeo stood in front, eyes flaming with rage for the destruction of another world. Genesis then looked across the land and with his powers, he sensed Juliet’s presence. He looked down, shutting his eyes. Then, SonicCody, shoved himself past the crowd, and pushed aside Genesis. He pointed and yelled toward the castle and next to it, the massive ship was preparing for departure. Nmeo’s eyes widened. This was the perfect time to attack; if they can take down that ship, then possibly more of the army would be easier to knock down! ~
~Meanwhile, inside the castle, Aldebaran was looking through the spyglass once more, and moved the handle bars around, trying to spot the escapee’s. However, instead of finding Sonic and the girls, he spotted a black figure on top of a building, backed by 21 others creatures of many unique races. Shocked, Aldebaran leaned back and let go of the spyglass. He turned and broke into a run towards the exit of the castle. Sirius had spotted him, and ran after him. Finally reaching outside, Aldebaran stopped short, his eyes wide. He had seen his only son, and with an army of his own. Sirius questioned his action, loudly, so all could hear. ~
Sirius: Are you mad, Aldebaran?! What’s gotten into you?!
Aldebaran: We’re about to be counterattacked…
Sirius: What?!
~The crowd of people paid no attention to the two tall and muscular warheads, except for one. Nmeo had seen these two and slowed aimed his left hand at them. With his eyes filling with tears, he charged a white beam attack, but Image stepped forward and grabbed the New Matter’s arm. He shook his head and helped Nmeo put his arm down. Still glaring at the two enemies, Nmeo issued the order to attack. ~
Nmeo: I want everyone to finish the ones on the roofs first. No one touches the castle until every other New Matter is turned into goo!! Now go!!
