The Battle of the Year! -- 2009

introduces a NEW character!


Setting: Grassy Plain surrounded by trees. the radius is 5 miles.


Center of the plains


Vein: I'm glad we can finally get to do this.

Wrave: This is it Vein...

Vein: Whatever you say, kid.

Wrave: *summons Tempest and charges at Vein*

Vein: *grabs the blade and flings Wrave off of it* You don't deserve this weapon...

Wrave: *tries to summon his sword back but he can't* what?

Vein: This blade seems to prefer me...

Wrave: grrr! *pulls out the Adamantium Katana on his back and charges at Vein in a slashing form*

Vein: hmpt. *slashes at the katana with Tempest and shatters the blade cutting Wrave in the process*

Wrave: eugh! *blown back by Vein's slash* UGH! *hits the ground* grrr...

???????: here... *uses Healing Wind to heal Wrave's wound* that sword of your can cut through anything, can't it...

Wrave: J-...Genesis?! Why're you helping me! *he gets up quickly*

Genesis: because I hate Vein too.

Wrave: *takes a moment to think about Genesis' use in this fight* you realize after this is over, it'll be our turn to fight...

Genesis: I kinda guessed that.

Wrave: *kicks Genesis to the ground and falls on the ground himself dodging a rather large orb of darkness*

Vein: Nice reflexes... It's going to take more than you two to bring ME down!

Wrave: don't be so cocky! *getting up*

Genesis: *gets up*

Genesis/Wrave: let's go!

Wrave: let's start out easy!

Genesis: right! GENE- *charges*

Vein: ?!

Wrave: *sighs* spirit of the wind.... give me... POWER! *forms a huge sphere of dark and silves winds over his head the size of the plains... the grass all dies and some trees get sucked into the sphere* errrrraaaaah! *he throws the sphere of powerful winds and plasma energy at Vein*

Genesis: CANNON!! *he shoots his Gene-Cannon attack at Vein*

Vein: *pierces the sphere of wind with Tempest and absorbs all the wind* *he punches what's left of Wrave's attack which is Plasma Energy and it reflects back at Wrave* *he looks at Genesis and sees his attack and just as its about to his, he smacks the attack with his hand and sends it toward the sky*

Wrave: wha! *hit by the plasma energy* UGH! *is sent flying into a tree FIVE MILES AWAY! breaking several trees in the process*

Genesis: .....jeez... so much for starting off easy...

Wrave: *teleports next to Genesis all beaten up* *falls to one knee, his arm on his knee and the other holding him up* He can counter anything we do to him... This is all my fault... *flashback*



Demon: sign here and you will have all the power you have ever dreamed of, the power nessessary to save your planet from Genesis' wrath...

Wrave: ....

Blastion: let me read that first...*reads the contract* lose...our souls?

Demon: who needs a soul these days?

Blastion: ....*signs* *fangs grow in his teeth* Whoa... Wrave, I feel a hella lot stronger!

Demon: you are now a Vampire, Blastion.... the Undead

Blastion: COOLLLLLL!!!!!!

Xeche: I don't have a soul anywayz... *signs the contract*

Wrave: ......

Xeche: *tail turning into a fox tail* .....really? a fox tail? really?! *turns into a fox* ohhhhhh, I can polymorph! *turns into a falcon with a fox tail* uhm.... why is my tail still a fox tail?

Demon: it's your power, you figure it out.

Wrave: fine fine, i'll sign it... *signs the contract reluctantly*

Wrave2: *appears out of darkness*

Wrave/Blastion/Xeche: ?!

Demon: your power seems to be able to clone yourself. a magnificent power!

Wrave: I don't feel any different...

Demon: hmmm *punches Wrave as powerful as he can, but goes right through him and falls*

Wrave: ....I'm a ghost!?

Xeche: *polymorphs into a wolf with a fox tail* Let's go trick or treating!

Blastion: *punches Xeche* idiot

Xeche: *polymorphs back into a hedgehog with a fox tail* ow....

Demon: no... you're not a ghost, *waves his hand around wrave* you seem to be made up of oxygen atoms...

Wrave: so... I'm made out of wind?

Demon: precisely.

Wrave: what about him? *is able to touch Wrave2's back and shoulder and arms* i can feel him

Demon: because he's you. you can feel others, but others cant feel you unless they want you to.

Wrave: *gets angry* I shouldnt have signed that thing! i didnt need it! *at the word 'it' he summons Tempest* what? *cools down*

Demon: seems that you've gained a weapon as well...

Wrave: ...

Wrave2: so... i'm just a useless clone?

Demon: no... hmm Wrave make another clone

Wrave: i dont know how to... he just appeared after i signed the contract

Demon: *remembers an old Legend* Vein...

Wrave/Wrave2: what?

Wrave: who's Vein?

Demon: *points at Wrave2* he is...

Vein: what?

Wrave: what do you mean?

~~flashback interupted~~



Vein: COME ON, I haven't got all day!

Wrave: *gets up*

Genesis: *sees a figure in the distance* hm?

?????: *yelling* hey guys! need some help?

Genesis: Xeche!!

Xeche: *approaching* alright let's get this guy!

~The battle commences~

Xeche summons his keyblade and charges at Vein who parries Xeche's attack with Tempest. Meanwhile, Wrave and Genesis begin the Banishment Ritual, Vein is too distracted by Xeche to notice.

Xeche: how's it feel to fight against a REAL Keyblade Wielder!

Vein: nothing different than usual.

Xeche: *slides his foot and adamantium needles sprout from the ground piercing Vein.*

Vein: *disappears for the seconds the needles are shooting and reappears behind Xeche*

Xeche: predictable.. *he slides his foot back and an earthen spike rises out of the ground under Vein*

Vein: *on the spike of earth* not quick enough.

note: Banishment Ritual seals a wind manipulator inside of an item of the performers' choosing. In this case its a necklace made out of adamantium metal. The ritual takes one day --/-- http://videos.desishock.net/159621/24-Hour-Chant-for-Peace --/-- to perform a REAL permanent seal. But this one is sealing him inside of an item instead of banishing him from existence. The ritual they are performing needs Darkness, Light combined to perform correctly. It takes 10 minutes of chanting... and a sacrifice of one of the chanters....

Xeche: whatever ever you say! *the earthen spike becomes 1,000,000 small adamantium needles and they all aim toward Vein's heart*

Vein: *pierced by the million needles but not a scratch on him* Do you even know who your up against? *pulls down his hood to reveal his face*

Xeche: .......what?

Wrave: *sees Vein revealing his true self, but he knows if they stop chanting they will have to start all over*

Xeche: how can- you... *gasp* Wrave has a twin brother?!

Vein: NO YOU IDIOT! *sigh* I'm his clone!

Xeche: ....okayy.. *getting serious in the face* that doesnt change what you've done!

Vein: and what HAVE I done but bring people closer together through fear!

Xeche: ....

Wrave: *thinking: don't fall for his tricks Xeche...*

Xeche: .....

Vein: you see me as the bad guy but all people do in fear is show their TRUE selves.

Xeche: ......

Vein: hmpt, your closer to Hope because of this as well aren't you...

Xeche: *eyes widen*

Vein: I know about your little love triangle, and to tell you the truth, Wrave doesn't care that you like her.

Xeche: will you SHUT!! UP!!! *slashes at Vein who jumps backward and comes in to slash and hits Xeche with the blunt side of Tempest* UGH! *hit 8 feet away*

Xeche: *getting up slowly* *thinking: only 5 minutes left....*

Vein: is talking about that girl making you angry? well embrace that anger and come at me! With all that anger your soul is as good as dead.

Xeche: NO! My soul doesn't die; ever! RAHHHH! *slashes*

Vein: *parries*

Xeche: *still slashing* why. wont. you. DIE!

Vein: *parrying* *grins*

Xeche: DON'T YOU LAUGH AT ME!
voices in Xeche's head:
Blastion: loser hahaha
Soarz: idiot hahaha
Rizuk: worthless hahaha
classmates: hahahahahahahaha! what wack job! what a freak! LOSER! hahahahahhaha!
~at that moment Xeche felt nomore good in his heart~

Xeche: *stabs his Keyblade into the ground* ABSORB!

the ground around the four glows brown and the gravity increases 10 fold

Vein: *falls to his knee* yes... use it!

Wrave: *finishes chanting* Genesis...

Genesis: I know...

Xeche: RAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Wrave: his power absorbing technique...

Genesis: let's finish this before he gets a chance to do it...

Wrave: *nods* *closes his eyes and gets sucked into the necklace*

Genesis: *holds the necklace in his hand* maybe we'll fight another day... friend. *teleports to Vein*

Vein: hahaha! you ready to be annihilated!?

Genesis: *kneels down and shines the necklace at Vein who gets sucked inside*

Xeche: *sees Genesis* *the ground begins to crack open* GENE!

Genesis: !? GENE!

Xeche: CANNON! *shoots toward Genesis*

Genesis: CANNON! *shoots toward Xeche*

the Gene-Cannons collide and form a sphere of energy where they meet

Genesis: stop! Vein's gone now!

Xeche: the voices!... the voices!!!!!!

more of the ground cracks and lava begins to shoot out like a geyser

Genesis: *looks at the keyblade* *looks back at the blast* *stops* REVERTO! *absorbs both Gene-Cannons and shoots at the Keyblade knocking it out and returning the ground to somewhat normal. (the lava stops pouring out)

Xeche: *faints*

Genesis: *looks at the necklace*

???????: SHIT! I'm too late!

Genesis: ?! who're you?!

???????: ...I'm.....Wing... Where's my-...*shakes head* i mean... Wrave!?

Genesis: *holds up the necklace nearly crying*

Wing: *grabs the necklace nearly crying as well* damnit!... i WAS too late!

Genesis: *tries to grab the necklace back but the stranger protects it from his hand* who are you!

Wing: .......a friend... let's leave it at that.

Genesis: fine, friend. mind giving me back the necklace?

Wing: i do mind. *puts it on, it sparks a bit, and he falls unconscious*

Genesis: *catches the 'friend' and tries to remove the necklace but it shocks him so bad he stop trying to take it off* whoever you are... you must be pretty special to have the necklace reject others from removing it from you...

omg im sorry, i didnt mean to make you cry! D:

That's okay! There's an extemely emotional side of me that crys a lot and sappy deaths like this trigger it...Did you know I cried in SA2 when Shadow died? And in the anime Magic Knight Rayearth when an awesome weapon maker died? And in Samurai 7 when that robot samurai died? And in Doug's story where everyone but 3 people died? (Yay! I survived!)

Damn, I cry a lot...
