(Some-wear in a military installation in Nevada)
*enter General Himmelstoss*
Himmelstoss: Doctor, how goes the tests?
Dr. Rominoff: Ach General zey are proceeding as planned. Ze light green one you can see zer *points to a black fox with a mint stripe down its back* ish project A.U.R.A. she iz un of the few who survived the initial genetic modification. Zis one over here *points to another black fox. This time with a neon green stripe* has been givin ze codename T.E.K.K.
Himmelstoss: Very good. Are there any more who have survived the initial modification?
Dr. Rominoff: Vell there are ze other two. Zer vas un bird auf paradise und another fox but zey had. . . complications.
Himmelstoss: Such as?
Dr. Rominoff: Vell ze fox rammed itself against the side of ze cage in fear and it fell off of the transport truck. Much of eets brain needed to be repaired with ze help of machinery. He us currently in intensive care. The bird haz developed sum kind auf vierd disease and remains unstable.
Himmelstoss: Hmph. Pity. See to it that the experiment continues according to plan.
Dr. Rominoff: Yez General *nods and goes back to work on a computer monitoring the cages*
(two months later)
*enter Dr. Rominoff followed by General Himmelstoss and Commanding officer Leer*
Dr. Rominoff: Gentlemen, I am pleased to inform you zat ze experiments are fairing far better zen we anticipated.
*he gestures over to a wide one way window along the wall. The men walk over to it and look into the large room. It is a large testing room consisting of rounded walls covered in hundred of white square tiles. It is not the walls that grab then mens attention but rather what is sitting in the middle of the room. In the center of the room sit the two foxes from earlier. Although something does not look the same.*
Leer: They look larger then I remember them.
Dr. Rominoff: Ahc yes zat is because there bone structures are almost finished restructuring.
Leer: Restructuring?
Dr. Rominoff: Yes, ze genetic manipulation has made zem take on more humanlike builds as well as other latent abilities.
Himmelstoss: What other abilities?
Dr. Rominoff: Zat ish vat I have called you here to see. Observe. *pushes a button on the wall and a buzzing noise is herd*
*Inside the testing room one of the white tiles closest to the floor rumbles and slides out of the way. The two creatures who were originally paying attention to nothing in general both snap to attention to the sound. From some-wear behind the wall multiple snakes slither out into the room. The mint creatures eyes go wide as the other one hisses and positions itself between her and the snakes. From up above the men watch through the one way window. At first it seems that it is simply a standoff between the creatures in the room until one of the snakes lunges forward. There is a flash of black fur and the snake is now dangling between T.E.K.K.'s teeth.*
Leer: Increased speed and reaction time. Very nice.
*The snakes proceed to dive forward and strikeout whenever the change arises. Time and time again they are batted aside or caught by project T.E.K.K.*
Himmelstoss: What is the other one capable of? I only see one attacking.
Dr. Rominoff: Just watch. . .
*eventually one of the snakes worms its way around project T.E.K.K. while it is fighting the others and lashes out. Before it is able to make contact however A.U.R.A.'s eyes begin to shine and the snake stops in midair as its head twists al the way around multiple times before falling off.*
Himmelstoss: What is this Rominoff? You failed to mention in your earlier reports anything about otherworldy abilities.
Dr. Rominoff: I was afraid sir that you would not believe me. I had to show you myself.
Himmelstoss:Very well. But make sure it is properly Contained. I don't want any mishaps before the weapons are deployed. Am I clear?
Dr. Rominoff: Yes General.
Himmelstoss: That will be all for today. See to it that the experiments development all go according to plan.
*exit General Himmelstoss and Commanding Officer Leer*
